Easy garlic scape pesto
Today I want to share one of my favorite recipes of the season: Garlic scape pesto.
Garlic is a type of bulbous plant in the Allium family, which also includes onions, shallots, and leeks. It is native to central Asia and has been cultivated for thousands of years for its pungent, flavorful bulbs.

Did you know that in cold climates it's better to plant garlic in the fall than in spring? It gives it a head start and enables it to grow big bulbs by the next fall.
